Slow Friday

The kids have a midterm break - all of four days.  Two, actually, since the weekend is right in there, as well.  So we really have a four-day-weekend, not an actual break.  Since Alan will have his first day of school on Monday, we decided against a short trip somewhere (we're also not entirely sure of Alan's health status, so better to stay put).  Doug went to work.  The kids and I will catch up on the German school work.  A quiet, slow Friday.

But, I took some experimental photos.  I showed the kids how to achieve different effects with different settings.  I showed them how they can become "ghosts" and they loved it.  And then I showed them how to convey speed by panning.  Never to early to teach them something.
